OperaLex
Overview
OperaLex is a nonprofit organization that supports opera in the Bluegrass region, primarily through backing the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre Program. They offer substantial annual contributions to cover production expenses and engage professional directors aiming to enhance student experiences.Problem
OperaLex didn’t have standarized branding for their their seasonal newsletters and co-branded events, fundraisers, and marketing materials. They also wanted a new look-and-feel for their seasonal newsletters.
Solution
To address their multiple channels, I created rules around their current brand color palette, logo usage and introduced a font system to use across printed and digital collateral. Additionally, I created an illustration system that reflected their involvement with classical and modern music and achieved versatility across different use cases.
